This cruise is for diving parents and their children’s (divers or non-divers). The route is the same as the Komodo cruise but during the Family diving cruise are only 1-2 dives per day normally. The Pindito offers therefor a lot of activities, excursions and fun for the whole family.

The Komodo Nationalpark affords a huge variety of riffs, stone-coral-riffs and scarps littered with soft-coral. Special is the some cooler water around south Komodo. This guarantees on every dive another underwater world. The east islands from Bali are named Nusa Tenggara. These Islands are less developed and this is the reason why there are only a few tourists.

Typically, the northern shores are warmer (80-86F), with clearer waters, whereas the southern waters are colder (70-75F) with poorer visibility.

For the northern shores a 3mm suit is fine. For the southern waters around Komodo and Rinca 5 or 7mm is the norm, some guests dive with a hooded vest in these cooler water.

The dry season from June until October is very pronounced. The rain season from November until April achieves the apex in December and January. In contrast to Alor and Komodo you can’t dive near from Maumere and Alor in this month, because there is a very strong monsoon wind. Before the Komodo cruise or Family tour is one night in Bali obligatory because the international flight arriving Denpasar in after noon or in the evening. Normally you don’t need an overnight after the cruise and you can take the departure flight directly. For guests who do not follow this procedure and do not catch their onward flights, we do not bear any responsibility.

The island of gods is one of the most beautiful islands from the world. Gorgeous Landscapes, fantastic beaches and a unique culture you will have on Bali. The individual roundtrips with your own open car are organised by our friend Jon Zürcher. The journey shows you the beauty of Bali, the normal live from the locals and a good selection of temples. On each drive you a have a good chance to participate on one of the local festivals. During the trip you spend the night in small, clean hotels which are built on the nicest places from Bali. The cars are open VW-Jeeps and in each car is enough space for 2-3 persons.
